Meet the Team
Our team has many years of experience in their respective fields.

Director & Engineering Lead
Malcolm H. Smith, Ph.D.
Malcolm has a Ph.D. in E.E. from the University of Kent, a M.Sc. in E.E. and C.S. for the University of Westminster, and a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh all in the U.K.
He has over 30 years experience in integrated circuit design and CAD software development with over 40 patents issued throughout his career. He specializes in analog and RF design at the circuit and system level.
Malcolm has worked 3+ years at Matsushita (renamed Panasonic) in Japan designing analogue circuits for sensors, and 22+ years in the US at Bell Labs, Intel, Amalfi Semiconductor and RFMD.
He has since transitioned into independent consulting and has been working 6+ years for clients such as MediaTek, HiSilicon (Huawei) and Google.

Director & Engineering Lead
Eamon Ishida
Eamon has a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Eamon has since concentrated on software development, recognizing its pivotal role in data-driven modeling and accelerated insights in materials science. He has worked remotely at the National University of Singapore on a project involving nanoparticle simulations whose results have been published in Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research.
He has experience with Python, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, React, SQL, and MATLAB and is currently working on a few projects including a decentralized incentive mechanism for machine learning models in the field of speech enhancement and a flashcard-based learning website.
